Evan Wayne Wismer

Dear Earl & family, I was so surprised to see Evan´s passing! I´m SO SORRY! I´ve lost track of your family since you moved from Shafer Avenue. I have many fond memories of the Wismer family. I remember your 3 speed bikes, your trips to Canada and your parents. Your sandbox was the best, by your garage! One time you brought over to my house, next door on Shafer Ave.,some fireworks. I was fortunate enough to grow up in Palmer and attend EAHS knowing Evan. Later in our lives we had many business dealings. My thoughts go out to Earl and the entire family.

Evan, you are now relieved from your watch. A job well done fellow navy veteran and mason. The final battle is now over and peace has been restored. America thanks you for your service to our country in the defense of freedom. The Cutter is now on station preparing for your final departure. The final volley has sounded and taps is about to sound ending a successful career as a nation´s defender. Smooth sailing shipmate.
