Mr. and Mrs. Yoder and Family. . . I recently learned that Evan had passed away. One of my sons indicated that some major health problems had arisen recently. The last time I saw Even was at Polaris at a restaurant and he was exactly as I expected him to be. . . enthusiastic about seeing me and excited about what he was doing at Ohio State. Even was one of my very favorite young men at TWHS and I always enjoyed seeing him. He was always a plus in the lives of his classmates and a positive...

I had the pleasure of mentoring Evan while he was completing his Masters at the John Glenn School. I was heartbroken when he told me of his illness. He was a wonderful guy and I am sure he will be sorely missed.

Evan was in my sixth grade class at McCord Middle School. He was a kind and curious boy. I am very saddened to hear of his death. My thoughts and sympathies are with you.

I taught Evan in elementary at Slate Hill. He was truly a shining star even when he was so young. Always with a smile and the warmest kindest heart. He accomplished so much in his young life. He touched the hearts of many. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
