Evanese M. Colon

In all my years of nursing I have never met a patient like Eva. She took me to places that I had never gone before (so much like my son). I mean this in a loving way. We shared so much; she allowed me to stand out in the snow and be angry with her and love her when she wasn't feeling well. I can see her smile when we would watch a movie together or give me that look when we wanted her to have a colonoscopy.
Eva touched my soul and my life Thank You for sharing her with me.

Eva was a beautiful girl with a wonderful spirit. She made me a much better person for knowing her. My heart felt sympathy to her family and to the team at Boston Children's Hospital.
