What a lovely photo of Mama Spanos. Memory eternal as she now rests in peace! . Your tribute to her is lovely. Reading it to Gary, he said, "No one made dolmathes like her. The best ever." She impressed me with her no-nonsense spunk, a trait I admire greatly. Hard work indeed ... some years ago when I was assisting at the festival, she didn't stop with her task at hand, exhibiting the energy of someone half her age. Truly a marvel.
