Our memories of Ate Engel are lasting and unforgettable. Her kindness and friendship during our grammar school years will stay with me, always reminding me of how blessed me and my sister were to have been cared for by her and her family after school. I'm very sorry for her family's loss and the world's loss. Engel was a beautiful person, a beautiful soul, and the joy and laughter she brought with her will be missed by all those she touched. Though I knew her briefly in our years at High Tech, I'll always remember her as a great friend, always thick as thieves with Grace, always happy. She had a great laugh too, so infectious, you couldn't help but smile or laugh as well. It was a privilege to have known her even for a little while. ...
