Queen of Heaven Cemetery and Mortuary - Rowland Heights Obituary

Evelina De Guzman, 72, also known as Ivy, passed away on May 25, 2021 after a difficult battle with breast cancer.  She was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, mentor, and friend.


Evelina was born on November 11, 1948.  She was the second of six children of Emiliano and Policarpia De Guzman.  She graduated from the University of Santo Tomas, Philippines with a degree in Business Accounting.  She had a successful career while raising three daughters, supporting her family, and building a life in America.  


She was adventurous, enjoyed the arts, enjoyed traveling and going on cruises with friends and family.


Evelina is survived by her two sisters: Sister Priscilla and Lina Flor; three daughters: Kristina, Maria Isabel and Rosanne; five grandchildren: Lauryn, Charlotte, Madeline, Carter and Lincoln; and many relatives and friends who loved her very much.


Evelina will be cremated on Monday, June 14th, and services will be held at Queen of Heaven Mortuary and Cemetery in Rowland Heights, California, on Thursday, June 17th at 12:00 p.m.
