Dear Blatz family, Your mother and I were email friends for 4 years, but never met. I can't believe she went so fast and how much I am going to miss her. My deepest sympathy to all of you on the loss of such a wonderful woman.

My deep sympathy to the entire family, but especially to Evelyn and Eddie's children and grandchildren. She was so proud of all of you. I met Evelyn many years ago when we were both waitressing in college between semesters, and we kept in touch for all these years. I will miss Evelyn's long newsy Xmas letters.
