Dearest Linda

I was so shocked and saddened to hear that Evie is no longer with you. I always thought I'd see her again and would "google" her occasionally to see what she was up to. San Francisco has never been the same for me and I have missed her terribly. Having just experienced a family tragedy myself my heart goes out to you for I know how painful it is to lose someone you love so much. I was lucky to have her as my friend for 30 years...... God bless you and take care of...

What a terrible loss! Ev was a dear and close friend when I lived in San Francisco many years ago. I recently found some old photos of her and was reminded of her beautiful smile, ready laughter and gracious manner. I've been looking for her online, and even though we have been out of touch I am so sad to hear of her passing. Dear Linda, if you ever read this, please accept my condolences and love.

Linda, Heard about Evie from Stu Tolchin at the Sq. Hill Smallman St. Deli. Needless to say no one should have to suffer a death from cancer at a young age like she and my Mother/Ginny did. You have had to endure 3 tragic deaths of those who were still young in your parents and Evie!

I have fond memories of our families spending many happy and fun times together through the close friendships of Sam and Sherm.

To Evelyn's Family and Friends: I was truly sorry and shocked to learn of Evelyn's death. I worked with her at Highmark when she temped in National Accounts. She was so happy when she was finally hired for a permanent position. Evelyn was full of life and always had a smile for everyone. If you needed a lift, all you had to do was talk to Evelyn. I will always remember her smiling eyes and big dimples. She was a joy to know and she will be missed at Highmark. I hope you will take...

Evelyn & Linda have been my neighbors the last few years (3?) and I have throughly enjoyed them both. It was nice to have friendly neighbors as well as people who understood what it was like having lived on the west coast also. :) She will be sorely missed by all. RIP Evie. I love you!

I can't even describe how much I loved you as a dear friend and as close to me as any sister. You will be sorely missed by me, my crazy wonderful loving friend. Life in San Francisco was never the same for me after you left. Rest in peace, Evelyn.
