Read MoreI worked with Evelyn in 1978-80 at the Naugatuck Daily News. I was a very green 22-year-old at my first journalism job. I remember her as warm, welcoming, with a great smile and always offering a kind word. She came to mind just recently as I was remembering the wonderful people who graced my life over the years. She was definitely one of them.
