Evelyn Chadis

Thinking of Evelyn and Eli on this anniversary of Evelyn's passing. Alav ha-shalom.

Dear Donald, John and Sandra,
Please accept my deepest sympathy on the loss of your mother, and my regrets that I will be unable to attend on Wednesday. I will never forget Evelyn as one of my mother's dearest friends and someone who looked after me so often as a child. I fondly remember watching the parades from your balcony on Pierce Street as Evelyn and my mother looked on, and the many times playing at your house on Hawthorne Street. She was deeply loved and will be missed.

Evelyn, when I was a child, as a happy and fun person. I remember going over to your house after school, while our Mom's visited.
She always loved to talk about fashion and hair styles! She will be missed.
