I remember getting a call from Evelyn many years ago, after my story appeared in a Horizon Magazine. She searched for my number and called to tell me how much she enjoyed my story. I immediately identified Evelyn as a "member of my tribe." She was kind beyond comparison to anyone I´d ever talked to. I so regret never making it to her "farm" in Oviedo to ride on her get around mobile. You will missed by many, Evelyn. I´ll never forget our many discussions.

I still miss her a lot. And to be so close to her birthday. Thanks for giving me the opportunity to share my memory. She was my friend !!!
