Evelyn was born on October 26, 1926 and passed away on Sunday, July 8, 2018. Evelyn was a resident of Port Carbon, Pennsylvania at the time of passing. She was a 1944 Graduate of Pottsville Area High School. A Memorial Service will be held 10:30 AM Thursday July 12 at the First United Methodist Church, Port Carbon, Pastor Lorraine Heckman, Off. Private interment will be held on the grounds of Schuylkill Memorial Park Cemetery, Schuylkill Haven. Visitation at the First United Methodist Church from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM on July 12, 2018. The family would prefer contributions be made in Evelyn's name to the First United Methodist Church Pike and Washington Streets Port Carbon PA 17965.

Wendy, Kent, and Cheryl, I am so sorry to hear of your mother's death. She was always so kind and caring. My happiest memory of her is taking the time to teach me how to use a flannel board to tell a story during MYF. (Long time ago.) She was one in a million. God bless you all.
