Not sure what to say?

Whoops, typo! Mrs. COX.... I typed in the wrong name and can't edit! I'm still very sorry, and I still have the fondest memories of your mom.... I'm just not careful enough. I'm sorry!

Dear Kathy, Myrnie, Phil, David and Denny-- my heartfelt condolences on the loss of your mother. Mrs. Knox and Coxie were two pillars of the neighborhood-- sweet, lovable people who helped make my childhood a safe and happy place. Their warmth and friendliness set a tone for our block in Chenango Bridge... the Bailey kids loved them the way little children love aunties and uncles. Please accept a long-distance hug, on the loss of a dear lady.

To Dave & Jan, and all the friends and family of Mrs. Cox,

My deepest condolences to you.

Dave, your mom had a magnificently warm and open heart. She welcomed me and other boys coming of age into her home, despite knowing from experience that mischief could erupt at any time. This is not to say of course that she didn't run a tight ship, simply throwing a glance or word to correct straying behavior). Whatever the course it was always done with unmistakeable love.

Mrs Cox...

Kristen and Kathy and the Cox - Gallagher family! I am so sorry to learn of the loss of your grandmother, mother and loved one, respectively. I only met Evelyn Cox once at one of your GPA reunions that you so graciously welcomed me to attend as your guest. I knew immediately what a profound legacy she created in living her life with humor, love, strength, and grace. Those qualities emanate profoundly and truly lives on in each of you. She was a terrific role model and human being. My thoughts...

Oh what a great lady! My first job out of high school was her assistant at CCHS! She was definitely my work mother. Always with a smile, even tempered and willing to help anyone. She and my dad (George Kelly) were the opening staff there.
My deepest sympathy to all the Cox Family. Your parents were both wonderful people.

Oh what a great Lady! I worked with Evie at CCHS. It was my first job and I was her assistant. She was always willing to help anyone anytime. She took me under her wing and was definitely my work mother. She and my dad (George Kelly) were some of the people who opened the school together.
My sympathies to all the Cox family on your loss of a very special lady! RIP Evie!

Sending thoughts and prayers to all of you! Such a wonderful lady!

Denny and family, so sorry your mom is gone. Peace be with you all.

To the Cox Family:

It is so true that your Mom warmed the hearts of the students at Catholic Central by reassuring them that everything would be fine. I will always
be grateful for the help she gave me during my years at CC and always with a smile.
