Proctor Funeral Home - Camden Obituary

It is with heavy hearts we announce that Evelyn Grace Curtis, 23, of Locust Bayou, passed into the loving arms of her Savior on September 29, 2025. Evelyn enjoyed cooking, gardening and epic fantasy in all forms such as films, games, reading, art and costume. She enjoyed exploring new places and new foods. She studied Icelandic for several years in hopes of visiting Iceland one day.

Left to cherish her memory are her parents, Robert and Dawn Curtis of Locust Bayou; her siblings, Jessika (Brian) Baskett, Laura Curtis, Tyler Waggoner, Bryant Waggoner, David Elliot Curtis, Benjamin (Meghan) Curtis, Blake Curtis, MaryElizabeth (Chase) Wilson, Joyce Curtis, Melody Curtis, and Arthur Curtis; her grandparents Gregg and Elinor Warner; great grandmother Barbara Warner; and 13 nephews and nieces, especially Hector Grubb, Edwin Waggoner, and Mila Waggoner, with whom she had a special bond.

There will be a memorial service at Fellowship Baptist Church in Bearden on Friday, October 10, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
