Not sure what to say?

My deepest condolences to John and the rest of Evie´s family. She was such a sweet person. She and John befriended me while I attended Crossroads Presbyterian Church as a college student at Conn and we have kept in touch since graduation. They always remember our birthdays and wedding anniversary. She will truly be missed!

What a lovely lady. Evie exuded all the values I admire: grace, intellect, compassion, humility, wit and love.

We have lost a dear friend . . . an educator whose work impacted young and old . . .a person who volunteered for groups like Habitat for Humanity and Heifer International to express her concern for ending poverty and caring for the earth; a person of who expressed her faith in concern for others.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. Evelyn will be truly missed. My prayers are with you all.

Evie was a treasured member of our class at MHC - she will be sorely missed.

Evie was a great friend and partner in efforts to support students at Mount Holyoke College. Her wide ranging interests were all directed toward supporting people to become all they could be and creating a more peaceful and caring society world-wide.

Oh my...What a beautiful example of how more of us should live. May God Bless this beautiful woman with a servant's heart.

I'm sorry to hear of Evelyn's passing--my sincerest condolences to John and her family-- I sat on a Habitat comte--for several years with her--it was always a pleasure--and opportunity to be with her.

Dear John & family, I was so sorry to know Evelyn had made her transition. What a blessing she was to so many people. John I extend my deepest sympathies for the loss of your dear wife & to your family for the loss of their beloved family member.
