Evelyn I. Foye

My father, Jetson Reidinger, always talked about the good times that he had with Evelyn at the Reidinger reunions. My family (Teresa, Eric, Dustan) and I wish our sincere sympathies to her remaining family members.

As I took my seat this morning at Mass at St. Joseph's, I began to recall the last visit I had with Evelyn when bringing her Holy Communion and how I had missed seeing her these past weeks. I remembered too that she had invited me to stop with my three year old son for a quick hello if I was ever on her street. Sadly, it wasn't until I turned the Order of Mass sheet over to see her name noting her death. Needless to say, I was overwhelmed.

In remberance of Evelyn Foye who I remember as a nice, friendly and kind person who always made me and my late brother Bob feel welcome at the Reidinger family reunions and enjoyed her stories and history about the Reidingers. She will be missed and the reunions will not be the same with out her. It was nice to have the opportunity to talk to her 3 weeks ago on the phone before she passed.
