Evelyn was my " honorary" aunt. My own and only living aunt, Aunt Esther who will be 100 this July lives in Vermont, so Evelyn functioned was my local aunt and moral mentor and advisor. I loved her dearly. Evelyn and I shared a love of gardening and she taught me a lot.
