Funeral services for Evelyn Francis Hawthorne will be held Thursday, November 8, 2012 at 10:00am in Cashner Colonial Chapel with Rev Don Kidd officiating. Evelyn was born November 13, 1923 in Hazlehurst, Mississippi to PE and Puler Tillman and passed away November 6, 2012 in Conroe, Texas. Evelyn is survived by her husband Alvin L Hawthorne of Conroe; daughters, Gayle Burke and Dr. John S Burke of Conroe and Emily Jane Hawthorne of Houston; son, Robert "Bob" Hawthorne of Spring; sister, Betty Maxwell of Brookhaven, Mississippi; sister-in-law, Jayne Tillman of Raymond Mississippi; grandchildren, Coy Vogel and wife Tiffany, Cody Hawthorne, Kelly Barker and husband Patrick and Trevor Hawthorne; great grandchildren, Conner Vogel, Mason Vogel, Jenna Barker and Will Barker.
