Not sure what to say?

I have many fond memories of Evelyn from school days at Maxville. but my favorite memory is seeing Loren and Evelyn together at church. Their love for each other was very obvious, even after many years of marriage and once I caught them holding hands in church. My sympathy to the family on the loss of a beautiful lady.

I will never forget the times i spent at there home as a kid. The way they treated me as if I was their own.
Wonderful experiences.

Evelyn was a wonderful person who did many wonderful things. Evelyn and Loren were a major Christian influence on the youth of our community. Through their kindness, generosity and love, they were living examples for us all to follow. Evelyn's kindness and compassion has been with me all my life, Evelyn will be sadly missed but never forgotten.

I'll always remember Evelyn & Loren for the the example they set to follow through life ways. I remember as a small kid helping Evelyn in the Maxville schoo cafeteria . " thanks for all the great memoriesl " ROY W. STEMEN

Evelyn was such a precious woman of God. She was so faithful to pray for our family and always inquired as to how everyone was getting along. She and Loren were best buddies and we made sure to hug them both at church because the love that poured out of them was contagious. She reminded me so much of my mother as she was such a strong woman underneath her quiet, compassionate demeanor. We will miss her dearly,

Please know that all of you are in my thoughts and prayers; my sincerest condolences for this great loss. I'll never forget Evelyn whether as my 4-H advisor, school cook, or in her many activities at Ebenezer Baptist Church.
Sincerely,
Beverly (Stemen) Paulus and family (Robert,Kimberly and Kevin)
