Evie made a positive difference in the lives of hundreds of children who were fortunate to be in her kindergarten classes. She was a very caring educator who nurtured her kindergartners. She and Ken have been active participants of the Goldwood retired staff luncheon get togethers where many fond memories of school stories have been shared. Sending prayers to Ken and the Hutton family for your loss.

Every town has that one kindergarten teacher. There are probably several people who teach kindergarten, but among them there is one who stands out. Whether you had her for class or not, she's the one who follows your progress from grade school, to Jr. High, to High School, college, and beyond. Mrs. Hutton will be sorely missed. I join with all the families from River who can't...

She was the best teacher in Rocky River! Our children got a fantastic start in education thanks to Evie. I can still see the handprints of every student on her skirt she made every year for her open house. She often called us years after the kids graduated to see how and what they were doing!
A very special lady will be missed by many. Enjoy the little ones in heaven Evie!!
Thoughts and prayers to the family with our condolences.
