I loved taking care of Ms. Evelyn. I will miss our visits immensely.

Dear Loy and Carrell and all the family, I am sorry not to be there today to see you all ..Evelyn was always so sweet and nice to me at the Kappa house ..and our family ..we always talked about Carrell and Pattie dancing together all those years ..then in later years we did water aerobics with Susan Cox..loved Evelyn and wish I had seen her again ..sending love to you all ..she sure loved all her family so..admired her so much love Mae Mae

Evelyn loved flowers and loved sharing them to brighten the world around her. This photo is from New Union Christian Church, where most every Sunday she was able, she would bring a rose in a vase to put by the guest book. The afternoon before she passed away, Evelyn ordered a beautiful arrangement for our community Thanksgiving service the next week. During the service, the arrangement was truly beautiful, and we felt her presence although she'd already been called to her heavenly home. ...
