Although I have never met Evelyn Mae Kincaid personally,I met her through her son Rodney. In Mrs. Kincaid final weeks of life Rodney expressed the greatest desire to be with his mother before her passing. In that visit Rodney relived the great love and passion his mother gave to all. I appreciate Rodney sharing this with me as a friend and colleague.

Bill and family,
My thoughts and prayers are with you. Evelyn was such a thoughtful and caring person. I received many notes of encouragement from her during my husband's illness and passing. She leaves a wonderful legacy. Love Ruth Huisman (Mike's Mom)

Evelyn and Bill along with the twins was the first couple from Chelsea Baptist Church to visit in our home to welcome us to the church many years ago. She taught my children piano lessons and brought many happy hours into my life. She was a dear friend and always had a big smile to greet me when we met.

What a joy she has brought to our family! We see the fruits of Evelyn's labor everytime our daughter sits down at the piano to lead worship at church. Her passions will continue to live on in future generations. We are truly blessed for having had her in our lives. The Doughertys

I have fond memories of singing in the choir with Evelyn. She on one side and Francis Loya on the other downtown Open Door. What an encourager! Heaven's choir is richer! Our thoughts and prayers for you all as you sorrow but NOT without hope. May God wrap his loving arms around you in the days ahead and when you think you can't stand it, ASK Jesus to give her a hug for you!
