Not sure what to say?

Super Aunt E who the whole family dearly loved, will be missed greatly by everyone whose life she touched. Unfortunately we (my wife Sandi, Children David and Kim) for the last 34 years have not lived close enough (GA, CA & WA) for frequent visits.
However, we wouldn’t let a small thing, like a few thousand miles keep us apart, that’s what the phone and mail was invented for. Whenever (not frequent enough) vacations or business trips brought us to the Kalamazoo area we always had...

The last time I saw Aunt E, I had photos of my son with me (he's her Great-Great-Nephew). Of the 4 or so rolls we had developed, I exected to leave a few with her. I brough home 5 pictures! She just kept saying "oh that's so cute" -- funny how she said that phrase the same way she would say "you sound just like your dad" :). Anyway, you just never could say 'no' to Aunt E. Even if you were willing to try... :)

She was a great woman and will be missed very much.

Evie Kline was my "aunt", my godmother, and my mother's life-long friend. We went to Kalamazoo every summer to see my grandparents-I saw Aunt Evie every year until I was 12. And altho I hadn't seen her in over 40 years, we kept in touch by mail and phone. When I had children, I sent her pictures every year. One of the best memories I have is when I was putting together an album for my parents 50th wedding anniversary, Aunt Evie sent me pictures and a newspaper clipping of their wedding out of...

Evie was a great friend from 1st grade to the very end. She was the bridesmaid at my wedding in NYC. In the last years, she carried on, determined not to give up. Truly, one of the best.

Though I grew up thousands of miles from Aunt E, I have many special memories of her. My favorite being the day I showed up at her apartment unannounced to introduce her to Joe in 1996. We had driven up to Kalamazoo from Mishawaka, Indiana where Joe's family lives so I could visit my grandparents. I knew we were having lunch close to Aunt E's apartment, but did not know if we would have time to stop by so I hadn't let her know I was in town. When we showed up at her door saying "Hi Aunt E"...
