Read MoreWe had a great time living on Davis Street with all the families. I remember the green shag carpet, Mrs. Leary practicing her golf swing and playing the piano. Hope everything is well for all of the Leary girls. Colleen hope all your kids are doing good!! It's been a long time but my oldest is 31!!! and no granddaughters or anyone married yet.

Mrs. Leary was always so sweet and nice to me. I remember her always inviting me in and playing the piano for me. I was sad to hear about her death. My thoughts and prayers to the girls.

My family was a part of that tight group of neighbors on Davis Street back in the Sixties. I have many fond memories of Evelyn and her family. It wasn't uncommon on warm summer days to hear her marvelous music when she played her piano. She had a wonderful up beat personality. I can still visualize her and Mrs. Carney standing on the sidewalk talking things over. She was a real pleasure to be with. I know her girls will miss her.

Just the other day I was thinking about Mrs Leary. We had a wonderful time living across the street from the Leary family. So sorry about her death but so glad that we had such wonderful neighbors. Love to all the girls...Colleen Carney Bullock
