Mrs. Evelyn Maree MacKenzie Ricks, age 84, a resident of 225 Shad Bend Drive, Washington, passed away Monday, August 20, 2018 at Vidant Medical Center.

Mrs. Ricks was born May 7, 1934 in Spokane, Washington to the late William and Violet MacKenzie. She was a 1951 graduate of Spokane High School and on December 18, 1952 she married J. Larry Ricks who survives.

Along with her husband, survivors include two daughters, Anne Pokorski, Jenni Cannon; three sons, Tony Ricks, Monty Ricks, Jerry Ricks; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sister, Shirley Bowman.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 7:30 pm Thursday, August 23, 2018 at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory.
