Evelyn Joanne Mills

 

MILLS, Evelyn Joanne - Of Fenton, age 82, died Saturday, December 1, 2018 at McLaren-Flint.

 

A memorial service will be held 2pm Saturday, December 29, 2018 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.

Visitation 12Noon Saturday until the time of the service at the funeral home. 

 

Cremation has taken place and burial of cremains will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Fenton, Michigan with husband, Alden Gale Mills and daughter Dana Lynne Mills.

 

Evelyn was born in Flint on October 16, 1936, the daughter of William and Leota (Haiss) Baker. She enjoyed raising English and French Bull Dogs and attending and watching college and professional sports.

 

Surviving are sons, Jeffery Alden and wife Allyson Mills and Kevin Mills and wife Catherine Hammer;

 

daughter, Mallory Mills (Michael Parkhurst);

 

granddaughters, Nicole, Courtney, Candace, Carli and Cayla;

 

great-grandchild, Maximus;

 

sisters, Mary (Michael) Baran and Sharon (William) Clark;

 

and many loving nieces and nephews.

 

She was preceded in death by her husband, daughter, mother, Leota Baker, sister, Patricia Aldrich, grandmother, Josephine Haiss, daughter-in-law, Lesley Marie Wiman-Mills, mother-in-law, Bertha Mills and many loving family pets.
