Not sure what to say?

Evelyn has been a good friend of mine since 1941. We lived in the same neighborhood in Agawam. At the time, I had two young boys and no telephone. Evelyn welcomed me into her home to use hers as often as I needed. She was always so gracious and kind, even early in the morning. We’ve remained friends all these years, continuing to talk on the phone at least once a week. I will miss her very much.

When we moved onto the corner of Silver and Doane Evelyn and Ray welcomed us like family to the neighborhood making sure we were never left out of neighborhood events. Even after we moved and she moved we always exchanged Christmas cards. I know for sure she is up there looking down on family and friends. Rest in peace Evie.
