Remembered fondly

Greatly missed. " My second mother"

Eve has now been joined by my husband Bill, who died in November 2024. He was incredibly fond of her, as was I, her step daughter.. she will be lovingly remembered, by all her family here in Barnstaple, Devon.

We were neighbors with Evelyn (& George) for 14 years. We started as neighbors and but soon became friends. I have many fond memories of time spent together including our many yard sales together. My home is full of treasures from these sales as Evelyn always had the best items for sale.
With thankfulness with time spent together.

Evelyn with husband George A.C. Miller on Burns night .

Our thoughts are with everyone in the family, from “Daughter” Helen, husband Bill and children, Rob and Chris, and their families,

Eve was such a fabulous wife to my father who died in 2007, but we remained constant friends throughout their marriage and for years afterwards.

Eve was my " stepmum" . Married to my father George Miller for over 26 years before he passed, she was fun, and beautiful with a great sense of style.
I wrote to her frequently always hoping she would enjoy the scenes of England.
Fly high, butterfly..

Eve was my " stepmother", married to my father, George for over 26 years before he died, she lit up my life with her humour and sense of fashion and flair. I wrote to her constantly and although I did not receive replies in her later years, I always hoped and prayed she was keeping safe and well. We will plant a yellow rose here in Barnstaple Devon, where she visited many times. Missing you, and sending love to all.

What a wonderful lady. Linda & I have been very close friends of Evelyn and were so lucky to have shared so many good times together. She will be missed! Our home and bookshop are filled with so much tangible memorabilia which we received from her, everywhere you look are daily reminders of her love & friendship.
