Mom,
I can't believe you have been gone a month. I miss you so much that I can't hardly make it through the day or night. I start to go to the phone to remind you that your favorite TV program is coming on or to just talk to you to make sure you are ok or if you needed something and then remember you are not there, you are in Heaven. Mom, I know you are so happy now, you are with your mother, father, sisters, my little baby boy that I have not ever seen, my husband and my daddy. You are pain free, hallelujah and have a new glorified body. I can't wait to see you and our family again. Mom I love you with all of my heart and you are the best mother in the world. I miss you going to church with me. It has been hard for me to get back in church without you but I do promise you that I am going back to church like I am suppose to. Mom, I will see you soon.
Love and miss you,
Wanda (Daughter)

Debbie, Wanda, & Jerry,
I am very sorry about your mom. She was a very special woman, & a very special aunt. I loved her dearly, & will miss her dearly. She was my second mom, & helped raise me when I was growing up. I know she is better off, & not suffering anymore. She is in better hands & is with her mom & her other sisters, looking down at us. I really miss her!! I think about her every day. Me, Debbie & Jerry all grew up together, & we need to still stay
close to each other. You are all in my thoughts & prayers, & I love you all!!
We will see her again one day, in a better place!!

WANDA, DEBBIE, JERRY AND LINDA,
I HAVE BEEN A FRIEND OF EVELYN SINCE ALL OF
YOU WERE KIDS AND JERRY WAS A BABY. WE SHARED MANY GOOD TIMES TOGETHER AND TALKED FOR HOURS AND HOURS ON THE PHONE. SINCE I READ HER OBITUARY IN THE PAPER, I HAVE THOUGHT ABOUT HER SMILE, LAUGHTER AND THE MANY THINGS WE SHARED. SHE WAS SO SWEET AND A WONDERFUL FRIEND TO LISTEN. TIME SEPERATED US BUT I'VE NEVER FORGOTTEN HER AND OUR VISITS. I LIVED IN WEDDINGTON AND KNEW EVELYN'S MOTHER AND FAMILY. SHE IS IN A WONDERFUL BEAUTIFUL PLACE NOW WHERE SHE LOOKED FORWARD TO BEING. YOUR MOTHER LOVED ALL OF YOU SO VERY MUCH. YOU WERE HER JOY. YOU WILL SEE HER AGAIN. I WISH I COULD HUG YOU ALL NOW AND I HAVE YOU IN MY PRAYERS AND HEART.
MY LOVE TO YOU AND GOD'S BLESSINGS.
I AM SO SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS.

Jerry and family,
We are so sorry for your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. May God keep you and comfort you during this time and always. Paul says in 2 Corinthians 5:8 We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.

Debbie, my sincere sympathy to you and your family. Always remember, you are loved. Evelyn was a kind and gentle soul and how blessed you all were to pull together as a family during these past several months. Cherish the memories and love one another - the best legacy and tribute to your mother.
Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there,
I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight
On the ripened grain.
I am the gentle Autumn's rain.
When you awaken in the morning hush,
I am the swift uplifting rush
of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry.
I am not there.
I did not die.
My Spirit is still alive…
