Evelyn J. Wells

Evelyn was a legend at College Hills Elementary! She was a wonderful role model for the rest of us, and I am truly blessed to have called her a friend. Praying for her family during this difficult time.

Evelyn cared deeply for all the students and they all cared for Her as well. She touched so many lives with her love & kindness. Rest in peace my sweet Friend. Ms. Wells has been a vital member of this community my whole life. She has and always will be a wonderful friend, teacher, neighbor, family member, and Christian. I will never forget sitting in the halls of College Hills and working with her. Even into adult hood, I have kept up with Ms. Wells because she was so full of love and compassion for everyone she came across. I will always cherish the memories I have with her and her family. Oh sweet Evelyn I’ve thought of you often since I retired and missed you so much. We had fun and some great laughs when we worked together both in kindergarten and then when you brought the kids to the computer lab. We always had good laughs playing and dancing to “The Monster Mash” at this time of the year too with the kids in computer. Evelyn and I became close friends while working together at College Hills. She supported so many kindergarteners with their academic and social skills for thirty years! I will treasure my memories of my time spent with Evelyn. Elaine Everett
