While I never had the pleasure of meeting Everett in person, I corresponded with him and kept up with him through a mutual friend, Dave Tracy. Everett was truly one of those who made the "Greatest Generation" exactly what it was. From the son of another former 9th Defense Battalion Marine; each of you have my most sincere condolences on the loss of a great man. My thoughts and prayers go out to you all. Peace and solace to you.

Mrs. Bickford and family,
So sorry for hear of your loss. Mr. Bickford was such a wonderful and kind man and neighbor to both my Mom and I for many years. We always felt safe and secure with him next store.

Aunt Dru and family; Uncle Bick was such a patient and wonderful man. I have many fond memories of the camp in Milton, cook-outs and many visits of you and my cousins where we had such great fun. Uncle Bick was an exceptional role model from the greatest generation! His character, my hope is, in all of us! Bruce Stevens
