Not sure what to say?

David will be truly missed by all of us at Calvary Chapel. Every Sunday morning we would arrive at church at about the same time. No matter how ill he felt, David always had a smile and a kind word. I know that his passing is bittersweet. Bitter because we mourn his loss, but sweet because we know he is with Jesus and now is perfectly healed. I sing in the Praise Band and Wednesday night as I had my eyes closed and was worshipping the Lord in song, I had a thought! David is praising our...

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Mr. Blackwell was a true gentleman whose service to others was an example to all. I knew him for four years when I attended Calvary Chapel in Charlottesville, and his grace and dignity were a beacon to me and many others. Many talk the talk, but Everett David Blackwell walked the walk even with oxygen and failing body. A true Christian soldier, he has shown us the way to Glory.

Mr. Blackwell will be greatly missed by all the staff on South 7 at MJH. He was such a nice guy, and I feel honored to have known him. I know he is now well, and in heaven. My prayers are with the family, and friends.
CNA-South 7

I worked with David at Comdial for a number of years. He was always so nice and friendly to everyone. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this time.

My sympathy goes out to the Blackwell family. My father, Dee Wood, and David were long-time friends for years. The years have past and our families have lost touch, but we cherish the memories we have of camping and the race track. I will keep the family in my thoughts and prayers and hope the memories of David ease your pain.
