Dear Family and Friends of Everett Cobb,
It was with great sadness that I learned of Everett’s passing. He was a good friend to dentistry and to those of us engaged in dental research at the National Bureau of Standards (NBS, now the National Institute of Standards and Technology, NIST). Everett was a hard worker and a pleasant colleague who had very high standards of conduct. We share in your loss but, like you, we rejoice for having had the gift of the times that he spent with us. How fortunate you were to have had such a great person for a father, husband, uncle, or friend. We look forward, with hope, to the day when we meet him again in a better place. We offer our condolences to you and pray for strength for you at this trying time.

Dr. Cobb was always friendly to us kids when we were growing up. We lived in a great neighborhood and he was one of the reasons it was great. Thoughts and prayers to the Cobb's during this difficult time.

Just a note to say what a great mentor and role model Dr. Cobb was to me. His passion for dentistry and the professionalism he demonstrated made a great impact on me. I am proud to have work at his office as a student and will always remember his words to this day " What's the most important step?, the step you're on" My deepest sympathy to all of the family.

My condolences to his family on their loss. Everett was a friend and collegue for many years at the Georgetown University School of Dentistry. He was known and admired for precision in his work and unfailing devotion to his alma mater and his Church. His legacy will surely include the highest ethical standards imparted upon his many friends, students, and patients.
