CUNNINGHAM, Everett P. - Of Flint, formerly of Florida, age 80, died Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at his residence. Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, January 9, 2012 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Sarah LaRose-Nettell officiating. Burial in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Heart Association. Visitation 1-4 p.m. Sunday and 12 p.m. Monday until the time of the service at the funeral home. Mr. Cunningham was born in Berkshire, New York on January 17, 1931, the son of Clinton and Cornelia (Rockwell) Cunningham. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. On July 17, 1954 he married Mary Ellen Ryan. He loved antique cars. Mr. Cunningham was employed by Chevy Manufacturing Plant 10, retiring in 1985. Surviving are wife, Mary Ellen; one son, Matthew and wife Jamie; four grandchildren, Troy, Joshua, Mackenzie and Catie; three sisters, Geraldine Zarza, Edith Williamson and Louise (Don) Gerheauser; one brother, Irving (Shirley); many nieces and nephews. Everett was a valued member of RMCUMC in Ridge Manor fl. Wonderful man. . He lives with Jesus now. Imagine what it must be like. Amazing!
