Everett B. Dorsey, 52, beloved husband and father, entered rest Monday, Nov. 14, 2016. Celebration of life: 11 a.m. Saturday at historic Allen African Methodist Episcopal Church, 116 Elm Street. Burial: Cedar Hill Memorial Park. Visitation: 1 to 7 p.m. Friday at historic Baker Funeral Home. Everett Dorsey was born June 27, 1964. He attended O.D. Wyatt High School and Prairie View A & M University. Everett was an employee of Union Pacific Railroad twenty-five years. Survivors: wife of fourteen years, Stacy Dorsey; children, Michael (Annette), Marcus, Melissa (Trevor) and Daniel; parents, Billy and Hazel Dorsey; brother, Darrell Dorsey (Gina); sister, Amy Walker (Brian); aunts, Barbara Sharp and Sarah Johnson, Margaret Beard, Juanita Marcus, Sara Nell Bryant (Tommie Lee), Berenda Hogan, Methina Chambers (Gary); uncle, John Dorsey, Jacob T. Underwood Jr.(Jeanet); sisters-in-law, Valerie Tarrence and Deirdre Burton; brother-in-law, John Burton; a host of grandchildren; and many other family members and friends.
