Not sure what to say?

To Brenda and all of the Dyson family:

I just today learned of the demise of Billy. I can't begin to tell you of the state of shock this news has brought upon me.

I had to let you know of my deepest sympathy, sadness and sorrow for you and your family. Billy will be greatly missed.

As Jury officer for the Circuit courts, I had the pleasure of interacting with Billy on many occasions over the past 20 years. He was quite the "Gentleman Officer". A credit to the...

Minnie & I have you & the girls in our prayers. I remember when Billy & I were in the Police Academy we use to talk about our families, your two girls & our three. I often tell a story about learning from Billy my 2nd nite on the street how to communicate with folk in a way that they could understand. We were in MASS when we learned of your sudden lost & could not be with you in person but were with you in prayer. God be with you and the rest of the family.

I am sorry to hear about your loss. My prayers are with your family at this time. I worked with Billy many years on R.P. D.

To the Dyson family Billy was a wonderful fella and a inspiration to many with his whit and compassion for his fella man he was an idea superhero that a many of man would have like to become your family will be remembered in your time of sorrow for allowing us to share just a small portion of a great man. Sorrow dont last always but joy comes in the morning. Be encouraged and prayful during these trying times.

Word has reached me of Billy's passing. I worked with him for some years and I agree with all the sentiments expressed here. Billy was a great guy and a fine example for the other officers on his shift. May God bless and comfort his family and ease their pain at this terrible and untimely loss.

Mrs. Dyson and family: I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I worked with Billy years ago. He was a special person. I will keep your family in my prayers.

Mrs. Dyson, I was very sad to hear about Billy, he was a good friend. We worked together years ago. He will be missed by many, many friends. May God be with you and your famiy.

Cynthia,

We were shocked to read about the sudden death of your husband. Billy was one of those officers that helped molded me as a young rookie officer. He even invited me to his home for some extra one-on-one mentoring. I am grateful that he took time to share his knowledge with me. Surely, he will be an asset to God upon reaching Heaven. May God bless you and the daughters.

To Cynthia, daughters, sister Brenda, and the Dyson Family:

I know that words can not take away your sorrow. However, I hope that the prayers and concern of everyone around you will help to give you strength at this most difficult time.

Most remember Billy the man. My mind lingers on Billy the boy and the good memories of youth and growing up. I imagine that he and my brother Harry will have a pretty nice reunion way up yonder.
