Although I never got to know him well directly, I did experience his passion for wood turning and his nightly after dinner ice cream ritual as a guest in his home! He was a warm, open and welcoming man. Ev will be dearly remembered and greatly missed.

A true genius in my life!
Neither a lofty degree of intelligence nor imagination nor both together go to the making of genius. Love, love, love, that is the soul of genius.

Spectacular man. He introduced me to Schubert's the Trout Symphony. He always had a smile on his face when I would see him. Thank you for your light Everett.

A wonderful friend, from 'way back' to grammar school at El Dorado in Stockton, and continued to be remembered at all of our reunions as one of the nicest, most caring, and probably (no doubt) the smartest kid in our class.......he WILL be missed, but not forgotten.
