Not sure what to say?

One day, many years ago, I walked in to the Arcanum - it changed my life. Being a lover of mysteries, I spent many hours browsing the shelves but became especially interested in the little 'back room' - full of mysteries of a different kind. It did not take long to develop a friendship with The Wizard of the Arcanum. Perhaps he saw something in me worthwhile because he took me in hand, gave me some tools and guided my journey for the next several years. I have some of his writings which I...

It was my pleasure to come to your place to do some respite care.I will remember a warm and welcoming home and a lot of interesting conversations.

I was a frequent visitor at Arcanum Books from the very beginning at the first location, and I bought the "Arcanum" name from Everett and re-opened the store in Gastown in 1999, where I kept the tradition alive for another nine years.

I only heard the name Everett Foley last week. My father did a 'grandfather' book for my kids and it asked about his close friends growing up. There it said Everett Foley. I never read the obituaries so it was a bit strange that it jumped out at me today. My father was Frank Roberts, grew up on Slocan and was friends with Henri Giroday and obviously your dad.
May he rest in peace.
