Everett Vernon Lee

I remember visiting Everett at Oakland Liquors for business. I stayed for an hour or so and watched him interact with his customers speaking some patwa in its native dialect. He had a way with all the people who came in to buy their drinks in a store with so much neigborhood flavor. I always got a real kick out of it...great guy great memories.

I was sad to read recently simply by googling his name that he passed during covid. I always liked my friend Everett and we had lots of laughs over the years in is Oakland liquor store. I remember guys would come in and your dad spoke with them in Patwa and they were always trying to get him to negotiate on their 16oz beer and a couple of nips. He was a great guy. Carrell. I didn´t know your dad passed He was a great guy and I wish I knew as I would have attended his funeral. Is your mom still here?
