Obituary

Everett Hudson Miller III
"CHOPPER"
Chopper Miller passed away August 9, 2006 at age 40 after a short illness. Chopper was born January 27, 1966 to Everett and Joyce Miller in Provo, Utah. He married his high school sweetheart, Ronda Mason, on August 28, 1987. They have two sons, Chandler Everett Hudson Miller IV and Gentry Sparky Miller.
Chopper was a world class outdoorsman. He was a champion coyote caller and spent a good portion of his time with his family and friends hunting, fishing and camping. He possessed a wonderful sense of humor and was loved and respected by all who knew him. Besides his passions for the outdoors and his family, he loved working side by side with his dad at Miller Drilling, Inc. where he drilled over 600 wells.
Chopper was a great husband, father, son and friend to many. He leaves his sons a legacy of a good work ethic, love and respect for their mother, and a willingness to help others. He was a great example of fatherhood.
He is survived by his wife, Ronda; sons, Chandler and Gentry; parents, Everett and Joyce Miller; in-laws, Ron and Linda Mason; brothers, Jeff and David Miller; grandparents, Adelle Boswell and Rose Bona; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends too many to count.
A viewing will be held Sunday, August 13, 2006 at Wheeler Mortuary, 211 East 200 South, Springville from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held Monday, August 14, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at the Salem 8th Ward Chapel, 410 East Salem Canal Road, Salem, Utah. There will be a viewing one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at the Salem City Cemetery.

Not sure what to say?

We knew when Big Al was calling us last week it was not good news. We are so sorry to hear of Choppers passing. I remember when Brian would go work out in Nevada with Chopper and they would leave a little extra early so they could hunt Coyotes on there way back out to Nevada. Brian always liked working with Chopper and Everett and learned some life long lessons from both of them. We will miss our old buddy Chopper and I pray that the family may be comforted at this time and our prayers may be...

Everett, Joyce, Ronda, Chandler and Gentry.

I loved Chopper. I love all of you guys. No words can express my sadness;I can only tell you I have been honored to associate with each of you and that I will miss Chopper.
Our family will miss him coming over, hanging out with Garvin and
hearing him tell hunting stories and watching coyote videos.

Chopper,

We love you. Always will.

A few things I remember out of the many:
hanging out at high school dances, 50 cent movies or friday nights with friends at Hamburger World by the Mall. Chopper loved to trap & hunt with Ron, Chopper introduces me to his girlfriend, Rhonda, and Chopper's signature smile.

I won't say 'goodbye', only 'until we meet again my friend'.

Rhonda and family, my sincerest...

We Grew up with Chopper in the old neighborhood in Orem. My sister and I were 1 ond 2 years older than Chopper but loved his fun sense of humur and gentle ways. I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Not too many years ago he bought a Kart for his son Chandler from my Husband Troy and we enjoyed spending the day with him putting together the Kart and remembering the good old days. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Chopper deserves a trophy for one of the best senses of humor I've ever seen. He didn't take jokes to himself personal at all. It bothered him if a friend was mad fun of. He was liked by all who knew the real him. He has left a true legacy behind him. His very capable wife, she has shown she can do so much more than she ever knew. I hope she still comes to the campouts too. The boys knew they were always welcome to go with chopper and they are good sons that mad him proud to be their...

Candler and family I want you to know that my family and I are very sorry for your loss. Always know that their will now be an extra set of eyes watching over you from heaven. Love always the Johnson's

Chopper was a huge part of my life I think back on my life and he was like a brother to me. I spent as much time in the miller home as my own growing up. Everett and joyce were second parents to me and I would like to thank them for All they did. I remember chopper telling me about this cute blonde girl "ronda" he had just met in springville, from the first day he met Ronda she was the girl for him. We had to many adventures to even begin to tell them all here. I will miss Chopper. He Marched...

Although I have only been around Chopper a couple of days in December over the past few years. I learned to respect him as a man and a predator caller. I don’t know that I have been around anyone who was as animated when they would relate stories or experiences. He was truly a joy to be around.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dear Ronda. Reading this guest book is a true testiment of the incredible person that Chopper was and the legacy that he leaves for you and the boys. I truly wish I could be there for you. I love you so much. I am praying for you and the boys and will continue to in the days to come. All my love, Rachel
