Not sure what to say?

Dear Mrs. Neptune and family,
Just now did I hear of your loss. My condolences. Coach was an inspiration to me and so many others. I was so fortunate to have had the benefit of his coaching skills, direction, and sense of humor in '70 when things seemed so crazy at times. I not only looked to him for advice on the field but also often looked to him for direction off the field as well. I considered Coach Neptune my good friend and I will miss him.
