Not sure what to say?

I am Everett's 1st cousin, my mother, Floy Pittman having been a sister to his father, Will. I have opened the Guest Book in hopes you will contact me. My sister, Mildred, discovered only this week that Everett had died so long ago and told me. I live in Mt. Pleasant, SC, having moved all around this hemisphere. I was surprised that I am only 2 years older than Everett. I know Billy and saw him last at my mother's funeral in 1987. David often visited at Mother's house when he went to...

My sincere condolences to the Pittman family.

Mrs. Pittman,

Please accept my deepest sympathies for your loss. I'm sure everyone has an educator in their life who stands apart from the others and Dr. Pittman was such for me. I studied theory with him in the late 70's and went from failing grades to A's. Many times I've bragged to others of his ability to make his subject understood. With his humorous approach to teaching, he left an indelible mark on me and countless others.

I want to thank all of you for your kind thoughts and warm wishes. It has been very comforting to hear from my friends and my high school tennis coach. Thanks for taking the time to sign this guestbook. It means a lot to me.

Susie... Our hearts are so saddened by your loss. God has not made the words to ease the pain right at this moment. Our prayers are with you now and for the time to come. You are a dear friend and we grieve with you. You are not alone and never have been. Remember who has you in His hands. We are here for you always.... Feel the hug we send...

Susie, I have been where you are and know that no words are made for a time like this. I do want you to know however, that my prayers & thoughts are with you and all of your Dad's loved ones.

Susan: The Duplicate Bridge group heard the news about Everett through Billy Bizzell today and it saddened us all. I learned things about Everett in the obit. I never knew. We needed to have one more conversation about our love of music and his expertise in piano. We all love you and send our prayers. Come back to play with us in Goldsboro when you feel like it.

Eva,
We are so very sorry to hear about the loss of your beloved dad. He was a wonderful, talented man who will be missed by many, but especially by you, your mom, Susan, and Jeff. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.
With lots of love,
Barb, Ken, Kevin Kurt, and Karl
