Mr. Everett Arthur Randall, 78, of 181 East Harbor Road, Cheshire, died on Wednesday May 21, 2008, at his home. He was born in Adams on August 25, 1929, a son of the late Everett and Mary (Lagowski) Randall. He attended schools in Adams. Mr. Randall was a Veteran of the Korean Conflict, having served with the United States Navy until his Honorable Discharge in 1956. He worked for several years in the maintenance department of the former W.R. Grace Co., Adams, until retiring. In most recent years he enjoyed working at the Rainbow Shack, Adams He was a member of the Adams Outdoorsman for Youth, a member of the Adams Agricultural Fair Committee, and Market Master for the North Adams Farmers Market. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and trapper. He enjoyed gardening and making maple syrup. He is survived by his wife the former Helen J. Zarek, whom he married on October 28, 1950; 1 Son - David Randall and his wife Paula of Adams; 1 Daughter - Jean Therrien and her husband John of Belchertown; 2 Brothers - Douglas and Robert Randall, both of Adams; 1 Sister - Dorothy Toporowski of Cheshire; 2 Granddaughters - Wendy Randall of Springfield, and Jamie Randall Schadler and her husband Michael of Cheshire; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister Frances Luczynski. The funeral will be conducted on Friday May 23, at 10:00AM in the PACIOREK FUNERAL HOME, 13 Hoosac St., Adams, with Rev. David Raymond, Pastor of St. Mary of the Assumption Church, officiating. Burial will follow in Cheshire Cemetery, Cheshire. Calling hours are Thursday from 4:00PM to 7:00PM at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the Adams Outdoorsman for Youth through the funeral home.
