Not sure what to say?

God bless you, Tuck Weaver, and rest in peace. You are owed a debt of gratitude by many for your courageous service.

Tuck was a wonderful person to know, as I did through his activities at the North Shore Senior Center. A deeply respected man, he will be missed.

There will be a memorial service for Everett on Saturday December 1 at 2 pm at the Winnetka Community House, 620 Lincoln Ave, Winnetka, IL. It will be followed by light refreshments. All friends and family are welcome to attend.

Our Wonderful Friend Tuck

What to say about Tuck on this the saddest of days,
We met him and loved him because he was a true gentleman in all the right ways

Determined, and generous with sharing himself,
He was hospitable, funny and brave
We can't believe yet that he really has gone
Grief comes in wave after wave

We know he was almost 100 but that doesn't mean we miss him less
We'll just have to keep him safe in our hearts,
With people like him, that's...

Everett "Tuck" Weaver was deeply loved and highly respected by the Willian family. We will miss him greatly.

My deepest condolences to the family of Tuck Weaver. I grew up with him on the east side of Ottawa and have such indelible memories of him. My fondest memories are his creative stories in grade school that he would read to his under classmates. My favorite was named “Ala Balooka Deweeza.”. I imagine his interest in the navy started with his restoration of an old wooden motor boat in his back yard. We kept in touch over the years, and he always had such a positive attitude and an interest...

Paul: I am sorry to hear about your Dad. I got to know this great man. My most sincere sympathies to you and your family.

To the Weaver family,
Our heartfelt sympathy for the loss of your father, grandfather and great grandfather. I am blessed to have known such a great gentleman as your father and to have had the opportunity to have had his sage advice over my 20 years with AMCOL. I can remember many lunches spent with Everett and Bill reviewing the performance of the company. As the former CFO and a director of AMCOL, I have fond memories of the Weaver brothers and the company they built. Our thoughts...

My condolences to the family of Everett "Tuck" Weaver. I recently read the story of the U.S.S. Barb and thoroughly enjoyed it. What memories Everett must have shared with relatives and friends. I also noted that the Captain, Eugene "Lucky" Fluckey, of the U.S.S. Barb, received the Congressional Medal of Honor that was shared with the crew. Rest in peace Tuck, you served your Country well! God bless you!
