Evert Sodergren

Evert's memory lives on with those who loved him. He and French share the same birth day, so every year we celebrate him on that date, too. French remembers Evert while engaged in his own woodworking projects.

We continue to remember Evert with respect and affection. The seven years since his death have passed both quickly and in slow motion. We are confident that he rests in peace.

It was an honor to have Evert for a friend these many years. Our condolences to Edie, Bill, Tom and Jean.

I worked with Evert for 2 years in 1971-72. He taught me a great deal, and gave me my lifetime career. He introduced me to sailing and I have been boating ever since, A member and past officer of Port Orchard Yacht Club for almost 20 years. I find that he influenced my life in so many ways, and yet I never told him Thank You. It is a great loss to me, and to our art. He gave a young dumb kid a chance, a career, and a life. Thank you Evert. See you on the other side.
