Not sure what to say?

Mrs. Horton,
You were an elegant person and a gifted teacher. Many years after leaving high school (1976) I still remember you as you were - a fine lady and so knowledgeable and attentive that even decades later if I'm frustrated with a difficult sewing problem I think, "What would Mrs. Horton do?" and the answer comes!
Good teachers just keep on teaching.
Thank you.

Mrs. Horton, you were an elegant person and a very gifted teacher. Many years after leaving high school (mid 1970s), I still remember you as you were - a fine lady and so knowledgeable and attentive that even decades later if I get frustrated at a sewing project I can think, "What would Mrs. Horton do?" and the answer comes! Good teachers just keep on teaching. I wish I had told you this. Thank you.

Mrs, Horton you are one sweet lady I enjoyed being your pet at Wooddale in your class. You personally tutor me in sewing, Thanks for your friendship and kindness love you

Many good times at Evie's house.
May God be with you during this dark time. Time will make a difference.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

My prayers are with your family. My memory of Mrs. Horton goes back to our membership in Jack & Jill,Inc. where she role modeled being a refined LADY with excellent character. I will always remember her and know that her time with us was well spent.

In love,

Elaine Sherrod & Family

40 years later I still remember Mrs. Horton as a sweet and kind teacher. May you all find peace.

Dear Mrs. Horton, I appreciate you so much. You were a good friend to my mother and a solace to me in helping me at my mother's funeral. When it is my turn to leave this world, I look forward to seeing you and my mother and thanking you again for all the things you did for us both. God bless you:
Yours truly, James Spencer Byas

So sadden to hear about my favorite Home Economics teacher. There are not many teachers/instructors like Mrs. Horton. She was a really sweet lady.
