We lived next door to Ewa and Roman on Grant Street in the late 70's. I will always remember her thoughtful invitations to dinner and introducing me, a newlywed, to borscht and other delights from their kitchen and garden. My husband so enjoyed late summer afternoons when the fabulous aromas of whatever she was cooking wafted outside. Both she and Roman were happy and wonderful neighbors!
