Ewing F. McEntire

Susan and I were extremely saddened to hear of Ewing's passing. We treasured our brief time we spent with your family when we made an emergency landing on your ranch airstrip in the late '80's. His kindness and generosity allowing us to keep the airplane at the ranch until we could replace the engine was a true example of aviator brotherhood.
We felt blessed to have met him in our travels.

May God grant you peace and comfort during this difficult time. Mackey was a great and wonderful man. I will always remember him flying me to Dallas, Texas for the birth of our first son. The few times I had the privilege to ride with Mackey I knew I was more safe than I was as a baby in my cradle. Mackey was the best chopper pilot I have ever met and that included my time in Viet-Nam.
