What a great Sergeant and leader! I worked for him in the parking lot at the Ohio State Fair. He made a very tough job fun. I can still see him striding through the grass parking lot with his special walk and smoking his pipe. If there is a parking lot in Heaven, he'll be running it!! Job well done Sarge.

Jim was the first Trooper I ever knew and he was a major factor in my decision to join the OSP. He was a good friend and will be missed.
