I just discovered that Gail passed away and hope that it's not too late to convey my condolences to her family. Gail and I never met in person but we began corresponding by email in 2011 when she generously shared her Levin Dukes research with me after spotting a blog post I wrote about him. We are both descended from Levin, me from his first marriage and she from his second, so we were half third cousins.
